Peabody Awards: lista de indicados tem Fleabag e Stranger Things

Nesta última quarta-feira (6), o Peabody Awards divulgou finalmente suas indicações para a próxima edição. O prêmio dá importância a histórias atraentes e empoderadoras transmitidas nas emissoras de TV e também nas mídias digitais. 

Dessa forma, precisamos destacar a PBS, que concorre com 11 produções, sobretudo na categoria de Melhor Documentário. A emissora educativa teve vários filmes de sua série POV indicados.

Na categoria de Entretenimento, os destaques são para algumas séries que venceram o Emmy Awards. Entre elas, temos Succession e Chernobyl, da HBO, Stranger Things e When They See Us, da Netflix, e ainda Fleabag, da Amazon Prime Video. Watchmen, da HBO, também aparece indicado, assim como Ramy, do streaming Hulu.

Vale lembrar que a premiação teve de ser cancelada em março e estava marcada para o dia 18 de junho no Beverly Wilshire Hotel, em Los Angeles. Será a primeira vez em que o Peabody Awards não acontecerá na cidade. Dessa forma, a nova data ainda será anunciada.
