Game Developers Choice Awards anuncia sua lista de indicados

Os organizadores da Game Developers Conference anunciaram na última sexta-feira (5) os indicados para a décima oitava edição de sua premiação Choice Awards, que reconhece os melhores jogos de um ano. Focada em 2017, a nova edição do prêmio traz como destaque nomes como The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Cuphead e Horizon Zero Dawn.

Além dos três jogos, games como NieR: Automata e PLAYERUNKNOWN’s Battlegrounds também foram indicados a múltiplas categorias nas quais se destacaram. A cerimônia de entrega de prêmios será realizada somente no dia 21 de março, data que marca o começo da GDC 2018 e o início do Independent Games Festival (IGF).

Para concorrer, basta que um game tenha sido lançado durante o ano avaliado, sendo que os profissionais envolvidos com eles também concorrem a diferentes categorias. Os vencedores são selecionados pelos membros da International Choice Awards Network, uma organização independente formada por criadores de jogos que devem ser convidados para participar dela.
