A atriz Melissa Rauch, que interpreta a Bernadette de The Big Bang Theory, revelou que está grávida de seu primeiro filho.
Rauch fez o anúncio através de uma reportagem na revista Glamour, onde publicou uma foto recente com a barriga aparecendo e contou que teve um aborto espontâneo alguns anos atrás.

Na carta, a atriz descreveu o triste incidente, comentando que sofreu um processo de depressão por perder o bebê durante a gestação. Rauch sentiu a necessidade de falar sobre o assunto para encorajar outras mulheres que também passam por situação parecida e para lembrar que nem todo mundo tem facilidade na gravidez.
A atriz disse ainda que teve muito receio de comentar publicamente sobre sua nova gravidez, devido ao trauma de ter perdido um bebê antes, mas, com a gestação já avançada, ela decidiu contar a novidade neste momento.
